NewsPage's NewsSearch! Remote Search of NewsPage, allows users to find relevant news on precise or obscure topics. To search for a single word or text string, enter this string into the search box and click the "NewsSearch!" button. To search for a phrase, use the following Boolean tools:

AND - Use 'and' to find only stories including both terms. (Narrows search) "healthcare and reform" will retrieve stories on healthcare reform, not the larger selection of stories relevant to either topic.

OR - Use 'or' to find stories with either term. (Broadens search) "cellular or telephones" will retrieve all stories including the word 'cellular' or the word 'telephones'. NOTE: Searching for "cellular telephones" will return the same set of stories.

NOT - Use 'not' to find stories with one term, but not another. (Narrows search) "CD not bank" will retrieve stories about Compact Discs rather than stories about Certificates of Deposit.
