Load quickly

Graphics are kept to a minimum and most of the pages' HTML code are under 20k.

Be easily navigable
|

|
There is a maximum of two menu layers below the main menu and on the bottom of each page is a link that goes back up the menu structure.

Have a consistent interface

All the pages have pretty much the same layout, background graphic and buttons.
|
|
4.

Be easily readable
|
|
|
All of the text is contrasted well with it's background. Most is black text on a white background, with this page being an obvious exception.
|

5.
|
Work with most browsers
|
|
|
Features that are browser-specific are not used. The only "advanced" HTML features used are tables and forms. There are two exceptions; Java is used for the chat room and frames are used in the Free Offers area.
